Stella opened the door to her small but pleasant house. She followed Kotomi into the cool, shady hall. "There is the washroom," she said while walking into the kitchen and preparing tea and putting out a small platter of cakes.

"Thanks" said Kotomi, as she went over to the sink to wash her hands and face.
"I love your house!" she said, "It's always just the right temperature in here, and your furniture is so comfortable! AND you're a good cook, unlike me"...

"Black tea is great! I like all kinds of tea" said the ever-enthusiastic girl.
"Mmm, you made cakes too...this is great!"
Kotomi loved free meals...even though the village took fairly good care of its orphans, sometimes she went forgotten or no-one had time, so she went hungry.
Stella could always be counted on though!...

The two had a lovely two drinking tea, eating Stella's lovely cakes and talking - Stella, for once, didn't even scold Kotomi even a little - until finally Kotomi looked at the clock and said
"Oh! Oh no! I didn't realise that it'd gotten so late - I must go now - if I don't do my shopping now all the shops will be closed. Thank you so much for having me over!"
She got up from her chair and went over to the door.
"Bye!" she said, and left...
